Apple Blossom Little Maids selected to serve

Six Winchester area girls have been selected to serve as Little Maids in the Court of Queen Shenandoah LXXXVIII during the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival April 24 through May 3. They are:

Anna Hester, the daughter of Mary Kay and Brian Hester of Winchester and granddaughter of Theresa and Jeffrey Svoboda of Hayes and Patricia and Jeff Hester of Winchester. She is a first-grader at Apple Pie Ridge Elementary School.

Bella Huddleston, the daughter of Shawn and Adam Huddleston of Winchester and granddaughter of Michael Cullinan of Springfield and Beth Huddleston of Winchester and the late Lourdes Williams and John Huddleston. She is a first-grader at Powhatan School.

Lexy Plotts, the daughter of Steffany and Gregory Plotts of Winchester and granddaughter of Debbie and Steve Slaughter of Winchester and Margie and Ray Plotts of Muncy, Pennsylvania. She is a second-grader at Powhatan School.

MaryGrace Utz, the daughter of Anne Marie and Chris Utz of Winchester and granddaughter of Frances and Pete Lowe and Barbara and Don Utz, all of Winchester. She is a fourth-grader at Evendale Elementary School.

Ella Watson, the daughter of Jessica and Douglas Watson of Winchester and granddaughter of Judy and Frederick Gaines of Frenchville, Pennsylvania, and Nancy and Robert Watson of Stephens City. She is a first-grader at John Kerr Elementary School.

Avery Wright, the daughter of Sarah and Kevin Wright of Winchester and granddaughter of Felicia and Rodney Huff of Winchester and Sharon and Frank Wright of Stephenson. She is a first-grader at Apple Pie Ridge Elementary School

The Little Maids will participate in the coronation ceremony of Queen Shenandoah LXXXVIII at John Handley High School on May 1 and will ride on the queen’s float in the Grand Feature Parade on May 2.
