Winchester Festival princesses Five students have been named princesses in the court of the queen of the 83rd Apple Blossom Festival April 23-May 1. Representing Lord Fairfax Community College is Brittany N. Green, daughter of Sheila and Rickey Green of Mt. Jackson and granddaughter of Bonnie Proctor of Mt. Jackson, Betty and Bill Green of Quicksburg and Janet Lonas of Woodstock. A sophomore science major, she is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, vice president of fundraising and was homecoming queen. Representing Shenandoah University is Alexis M. Hargbol, daughter of Michele and Dana Hargbol of Manassas and granddaughter of Constance and Thomas Mitro of Richmond. A senior majoring in pharmacy, she is the 2009 homecoming queen and a member of the basketball team. Representing Massanutten Military Academy is Jonnie L. Herndon, daughter of Billie and Tom Herndon of Jacksonville, Fla., and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Herndon of Live Oak, Fla., and Emma Womack of Ohio.
