Utterback-Silvestri Mr. and Mrs. Steven Utterback of Star Tannery announced the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Ann, to Nick Silvestri, son of Ugolino and Diane Silvestri of Harrisonburg. Butler-Spence Denise Butler of Luray and E and Marie Butler of Elkton have announced the engagement of their daughter Pamela Butler to Jeremy Spence, son of Susan and John Bartholomai of Newtonville, N.J., and Steve Spence of Strasburg. Jones-Randolph Jill Elaine Jones and Aaron K. Randolph were married Oct. 10 at the Piccadilly Public House and Restaurant in Winchester. The bride is the daughter of retired Col. and Mrs. Julius Jones of Winchester. The groom is the son of Dorothy Randolph of Winchester. The bride's father performed the double-ring ceremony. Jim McConnell provided music. Given in marriage by her brother, Jerry E. Jones of Baltimore, the bride wore a long two-piece rustic burgundy Spanish-style three-tiered skirt and a three-tiered bell-sleeved V-neck jacket. She carried a bouquet of burgundy and ivory silk flowers with pearls, feathers, beads and wooden spirals. The matron of honor was Janel Williams of Upper Marlboro, Md., sister of the bride. Downey-Mahanes Jina Michelle Downey and Randy John Mahanes were married Aug. 27 in Woodstock. The bride is the daughter of Roberta Cyr of Woodstock. The groom is the son of Carole Mahanes of Edgewater, Fla. Magistrate Claudia Grey performed the double-ring ceremony. Music was provided by Bucket Head. Given in marriage by her daughters, the bride wore a strapless corset-style satin black gown with a white flowing skirt with black velvet flowers. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas and red roses. The matron of honor was Bobbi Lynn Strother of Edinburg, sister of the bride. The maid of honor was Lindsey Elizabeth Cyr of Maurertown, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Taylor Rae Mahanes, Reese Elizabeth Mahanes and Randi Lee Mahanes. They each wore a black satin dress and carried a nosegay of white hydrangeas and red roses. A barbecue cookout followed at the home of the bride's mother. Prenuptial entertainment included a bachelorette party given by Bobbi Strother, Lindsey Cyr and April Hupp. The couple attended Central High School.
