Ammons anniversary Sterling and Beverly Ammons of Front Royal celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 19 at a reception, given by their daughters, at their home. The couple were married June 16, 1950, in York, S.C., by the Rev. R.A. Hodge. They have four daughters, 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A total of 32 people attended....

Chrisman-Haller Sabrina Marie Chrisman and Justin Michael Haller were married May 29 at the Kings Family Vineyard at Crozet. The bride is the daughter of David and Nancy Chrisman of Fort Valley. The groom is the son of Jim and Ann Haller of Leesburg. The Rev. Claire Goodman performed the double-ring ceremony. Musician was Steven Tunstall. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless ivory trumpet-style gown with a French bustled train. She wore a fingertip-length ivory veil and carried a bouquet of butter-cream and ivory roses, peonies and orchids. The maid of honor was Ashley Chrisman of Harrisonburg, sister of the bride. She wore a strapless plum knee-length dress with a sash and carried a bouquet of butter-cream and ivory roses, peonies and orchids.
