Front Royal School news Allyson Doran and James Marion, both seniors at Randolph-Macon Academy, were named homecoming queen and king, respectively, on Oct. 23. Doran is the daughter of Joe and Mariola Doran of Front Royal and the granddaughter of Joseph and Lois Doran and Ray and Paulina Ortyl, all of Toledo, Ohio. Marion is the son of James and Magali Marion of Warren County. The Randolph-Macon Academy Junior ROTC Band and Parade Unit placed first in junior color guard, junior and senior high school band and marching unit (flag corps) in the Alsatia Mummers Halloween parade Oct. 30 at Hagerstown, Md. Bentonville Military news Army Reserve Cpl. Cooper T. Cash has been mobilized and activated at Fort Dix, N.J., in preparation for deployment to serve in support of combat operations in Iraq or Afghanistan.
