Eagles' Baker earns all-tournament honor

Former Strasburg High School standout and current Bridgewater College senior Katie Baker was named to the all-tournament team following Saturday's CUA Guetle Invitational at Catholic University in Washington.

Baker helped the Eagles finish the two-day tournament with a 2-2 record, earning wins over Finlandia and Eastern Mennonite while falling to Frostburg State and host Catholic. Baker played in three matches, finishing with 38 kills and 10 blocks.

Baker leads Bridgewater (6-2) with 81 kills and 25 total blocks so far this season. The 6-foot-1 middle blocker is one of two former Rams on the Eagles' roster, along with junior opposite Bethany Doman.
