R-MA, MMA remain ranked in VISAA poll
Area schools Randolph-Macon Academy and Massanutten Military Academy continue to hold their rank in the latest Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association football poll. In the poll, released Oct. 4, R-MA held onto the No. 6 spot in the Division II standings, while MMA is tied for No. 6 in the Division III standings. R-MA (2-2) is coming off a 28-6 win at Quantico last Friday and will play at Fredericksburg Christian on Friday. MMA (2-2) lost to Fredericksburg Christian, 41-0, last Friday and is back on the road Friday to face Avalon School. Here's the complete VISAA rankings and power ratings through Week 6: Division 1 1.
