Yellow Jackets move up in poll
Randolph-Macon Academy gained a spot in the latest Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association football poll released on Monday. The Yellow Jackets, who knocked off Hancock (Md.) last Friday night by a 40-20 score, moved up to No. 5 in the VISAA Division II standings. Massanutten Military Academy, which dropped a 42-0 decision to Avalon (Md.) School last Friday, remained tied for No. 6 in the Division III rankings. R-MA is back in action on Saturday, hosting Hargrave Military Academy in a 2 p.m. contest. MMA also plays at home Saturday against Fishburne Military School.
