Patriots ranked in national poll

Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy's boys basketball team is ranked No. 8 in the nation in this week's National Christian School Athletic Association poll.

The poll, open to private Christian schools, has Riverdale Baptist of Upper Marlboro, Md., as the No. 1 team among NCSAA schools.

SVCA (21-6) is the highest ranked Virginia school in the poll. Norfolk Christian (5-5) is ranked No. 12 by the NCSAA.
