WINCHESTER -- Authorities are looking for a man they say robbed an elderly man at a city gas station Sunday afternoon.
About 5:30 p.m., police were called to the 7-Eleven convenience store at 715 S. Braddock St., where a 90-year-old man was robbed while pumping gas, said Winchester Police Department Sgt. Brian South.
South said the suspect approached the man and asked for money. When the man refused, the suspect reached into the man's pocket, pulled out his wallet and fled on foot, South said.
No weapons were displayed, and no one was injured, South said. The suspect appeared to act alone, he said.
A K-9 unit led officers to Cameron and Leicester streets, but the suspect was not found there, South said.
The assailant is described as a white male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with short blonde hair. He was wearing a green T-shirt and tan shorts at the time, South said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Solvers at 665-TIPS or the Winchester Police Department at 545-4704.

There's a special place in Hell for people like that. I only wish I had been there to see it happen, things would have had a different outcome then.
