FRONT ROYAL -- Town police are looking for the man who robbed the Riverton 7-Eleven at 2000 N. Shenandoah Ave. on Tuesday.
The man entered the store about 11:15 p.m. and told the clerk that he was robbing it and asked that the cash register be opened, according to a Wednesday news release from investigator David L. Fogle of the Front Royal Police Department.
The suspect is described as white, 6 feet tall, about 200 pounds, wearing blue jeans and a gray, hooded sweatshirt, Fogle says. The man left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running south on North Shenandoah Avenue.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Fogle at 636-2208.
