WINCHESTER -- Construction on the city's Green Circle Trail will temporarily close a city street beginning today, according to a news release.
Pall Mall Street between Kent and Hollingsworth streets will be closed for about two weeks. During that time, crews will be "reconstructing" Pall Mall Street underneath the CSX railroad overpass and making safety upgrades, the release states.
The Green Circle Trail is a seven-mile bicycle/walking trail through the city. The newest section of the trail will start at the intersection of Kent and Pall Mall streets and follow Town Run under the railroad bridge to Wilkins Lake.
