Sheriff's Office is seeking suspects

FRONT ROYAL -- The Warren County Sheriff's Office is searching for two unknown men who broke into a home Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred in the 100 block of Remount View Road in the Lake Front Royal subdivision around 5:30 p.m., according to a news release. The victim, whose name was not released, arrived at the residence and found it "to be in disarray," the release says. The victim was accosted by two men as he attempted to call the Sheriff's Office. The suspects then fled on foot. The victim was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital with minor injuries and was later released.

One suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall with a thin build and who is bald or has close-cropped hair. The man was last seen wearing a gray shirt with a graphic on the front, blue denim shorts, worn sneakers and black fingerless gloves, police said.

The second suspect is described as a short Hispanic male with a medium build, dark hair, thick eyebrows and a chubby face. The man was last seen wearing a blue shirt with light-colored script, camouflage shorts, sneakers and black fingerless gloves, according to the news release.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call investigator Ray Fogle at 635-7100.
