WOODSTOCK -- A town woman has been charged with several drug counts by the Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office.
Christina Katy Williams, 48, of 973 Hottle Road, was arrested Aug. 10 and charged with four counts of obtaining prescriptions by fraud.
Sheriff's deputies received information Aug. 4 that Williams had used a family member's prescription to get drugs on July 27 and 29, Maj. Scott Proctor said. While investigating those alleged incidents, they learned that she had filled prescriptions July 31 and Aug. 6 in Winchester and Harrisonburg, Proctor said.
Williams is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Sept. 25.
