The following is a list of closings in the Northern Shenandoah Valley in observance of Labor Day on Monday:

• Federal government offices: Closed Monday.
• State government offices: Closed Monday.
• County government offices: Closed Monday.
• Town offices: Closed Monday.
• Winchester city offices: Closed Monday.
• Courts: Closed Monday.
• Winchester-Frederick County Judicial Center: Closed Monday.
• Health departments: Closed Monday.
• Department of Motor Vehicles: Closed Monday.
• Post offices: Closed Monday.
• Public schools: Closed Monday.
• Banks: Closed Monday.
• Liquor stores: Open Monday.
• Public libraries: Closed Monday.
• Shenandoah County Animal Shelter: Closed Monday.
• Warren County Senior Center: Closed Monday.
• Sanitation: Monday trash collection in Front Royal and Winchester will be picked up Wednesday; Warren County trash transfer station and compactor sites will be open; no yard waste picked up in Winchester on Wednesday; Shenandoah and Frederick county landfills, closed Monday.
• Winchester transit: No operations on Monday. Service will resume operations on Tuesday at 6 a.m.
