Man indicted by grand jury on one burglary count

FRONT ROYAL -- A Fairfax man has been indicted by a Warren County Circuit Court grand jury on charges that broke into a sporting goods store in February.
Charles Earl Robinson, 27, of 4803 Green Duck Lane, Fairfax, was indicted Oct. 5 on one count of statutory burglary stemming from an incident in which authorities allege he broke into KC Sports in the 400 block of South Street on Feb. 11. Robinson and other suspects entered through the rear of the business and took an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise, police said.
The grand jury also indicted:
• Christina Micheal Bowyer, 20, of 2057 Harvey Road, Oak Hill, W.Va., on one count of grand larceny of goods belonging to Martin's grocery store on Aug. 18. Bowyer pleaded guilty to the charge on Monday and was sentenced to one year, all suspended, in the penitentiary. Bowyer also was ordered to serve two years supervised probation.
• Gerald Alan Clowser, 33, of 717 W. 13th St., Front Royal, on one count each of driving while under the influence of alcohol, a third offense committed within 10 years; refusing to submit blood or breath samples to determine his alcohol content, also a third offense within 10 years; driving on a suspended license while drunk; distributing cocaine; and distributing less than half an ounce of marijuana. The crimes were committed between April 28 and Aug. 14.
• Christopher Michael Sweeney, 38, of 214 Dogwood Road, Winchester, on one count of feloniously committing construction fraud on July 27, 2007.
• Cornelius Cloud, 34, of 2409 W. Strasburg Road, Front Royal, on one count of distributing cocaine on July 8.
• Brian Gregory Jenkins, 23, of 141 W. 17th St., Front Royal, on one count of distributing cocaine on June 25.
• Eric John Rudden, 24, of 335 Autumn Hills Lane, Front Royal, on one count of malicious wounding on Aug. 26.
• Michael Allen Hubele, 22, of 98 Lower View Road, Strasburg, on one count of feloniously eluding police on May 21.
• Jenna Renee Weatherholtz, 29, of 145 E. Queen St., Strasburg, on one count each of passing and forging a bad check on April 7.
• John Turner Robinson, 59, of 104 John E. Drive, Front Royal, on one count of statutory burglary on Aug. 25.
• Tony Lee Talbott, 39, whose address is listed in court records as the Blue Ridge Motel on 1370 N. Shenandoah Ave. in Front Royal, on one count each of statutory burglary and grand larceny, and four counts of passing a bad check with the intent to defraud. The crimes were committed between April 26 and June 29.
• Deandre Dawon Jackson, 20, of 117 Beeden Lane, Front Royal, on one count of statutory burglary on July 18.
• Joshua Paul Woodruff, 19, of 11 Shenandoah Commons Way, Apt. 1, Front Royal, on one count each assault and battery and feloniously destroying property valued at more than $1,000 on June 30.
• Adam Joseph Haines, 27, of 411-B Viscose Ave., Front Royal, on two counts of assault and battery on a family or household member, and one count each of eluding police, destroying property valued at more than $1,000, using profane language to make threats during a telephone conversation and possession of marijuana. The crimes were allegedly committed between June 27 and Aug. 25.
• Darrell Lee Stotler, 40, of 1324 Queens Highway, Front Royal, on one count of embezzlement and 11 counts of passing a bad check, all between Dec. 19 and June 13.
• Christopher Phillip Allison, 24, of 27 Toms Brook Drive, Toms Brook, on one count of manufacturing an explosive device on May 16.
