STRASBURG -- A man was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene of a kitchen fire on Sunday evening.
Fire company crews arrived at 14779 Back Road at 5:20 p.m., said Toms Brook Fire Department Lt. Robert Crowley.
The source of the fire appeared to be food left on the stove, and no further investigation is planned, Crowley said.
An occupant of the house showed some signs of smoke inhalation, but declined to be taken to the hospital, he said.
The house was not significantly damaged.
Fire companies from Strasburg, Toms Brook and Shenandoah County Fire and Rescue responded.
