Conference on exports planned

Rep. Frank Wolf, R-10th, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Commerce, will host a conference on exporting on Sept. 14 in Loudoun County.
The half-day conference, titled "Exporting Essentials," will cover documentation, logistics, trade finance, and state and federal government export resources.
There also will be a panel discussion with successful exporters, a market briefing from a senior official from the U.S. embassy in Brazil, and remarks from Francisco Sanchez, undersecretary of commerce for international trade.
The event will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the National Conference Center, 18980 Upper Belmont Place, Leesburg. Cost is $35 and includes lunch.
