WINCHESTER -- CLEAN Inc. plans to hold a "town hall" meeting on sex education issues next week.
The event is scheduled for Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. in the Youth Development Center, 3 Battaile Drive. A $100 prize is being offered to the parent-teacher organization that brings the most parents and teachers to the meeting.
The event focuses on the important of talking to teenagers about sex, keeping the lines of communication open and promoting health relationships, according to a meeting flier.
Shellie Selove, a psychotherapist and an adjunct professor at Lord Fairfax Community College, will be the featured speaker at the event. Selove is licensed as a professional counselor as well as a marriage and family therapist. She also certified by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists.
