BAYSE -- While some are cursing the return of freezing temperatures to the Northern Shenandoah Valley, skiers and the folks at Bryce Resort welcome it with open arms.
The resort will open on Friday as crews on the mountain have been busy making snow the past few days, according to a Bryce news release.
Along with its annual activities at the Horst Locher Snow Sports School, the kid's area has added two new surface lifts and an expanded SKIwee program.
In additional to all ski school and race event activities, the resort will also feature its Copper Kettle Bar and Grill and Fireside Grill, along with festivities throughout the holidays.
