School requests added custodian

FRONT ROYAL -- Warren County Middle School has requested a new custodial position for the building.

The Warren County School Board received the request at its regular December meeting.
The school, which relocated to the renovated former high school building on Luray Avenue, needs at least one more custodian, according to information provided by Director of Finance Robert Ballentine.

The existing middle school custodial staff needs assistance in maintaining the larger building. The need for extra help increased in the past few weeks as pupils began using the locker rooms, according to Ballentine.

The school might eventually need yet another custodial position, but is requesting only one now because of the expected tight budget year, according to Ballentine.
