FRONT ROYAL -- The town of Front Royal will hold an informational meeting on proposed water and wastewater utility rates in January.
The session is scheduled for Jan. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Front Royal Volunteer Fire Station on North Commerce Avenue, according to a news release from acting Town Manager Steve Burke.
The town is considering different rate structures because of an increase in overall costs.
The town has employed Burton and Associates to evaluate the possible change in fees.
Town staff and representatives from the company will be at the meeting, and Burton and Associates will make a presentation at 7:15, the release states.
The Town Council will hold a public hearing on the utility rate increase Jan. 10.
