Woman, 76, hurt in two-car crash

STRASBURG -- A town woman was taken to Winchester Medical Center following a crash Tuesday afternoon on North Massanutten Street.

Willa Replogle, 76, of 100 Massanutten Manor Circle, was driving a 1992 Plymouth when she hit a vehicle as she turned out of the Forest Glen apartments onto the southbound lane of North Massanutten Street just before 1 p.m., said Strasburg police officer C.P. Adams.
Replogle failed to yield the right of way and struck a northbound 2000 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Kristen Elliott, 25, he said.

Replogle's airbag deployed, and she was sent to Winchester complaining of back pain, Adams said. She was charged with failing to yield the right of way.

Elliott was shaken up, but not injured, Adams said. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
