MIDDLETOWN -- Business leaders can learn management skills the Disney way in a program coming to Lord Fairfax Community College next month.
The Office of Workforce Solutions plans to bring "Disney's Approach to People Management" to the school for a full-day event geared toward teaching professionals how to train, develop and retain skilled workers "who understand and convey the values of their business to achieve positive economic results," according to an LFCC news release.
LFCC will host the program March 22 in the Thompson Conference Center in the Corron Community Development Center. The event "will give participants new ideas for creating a culture of success and building a high-performance workforce," the release states.
Program registration is $316 per person if received by Tuesday, and includes all course materials as well as breakfast and lunch for the day. Registration after Tuesday is $395. One participant will win admission to a 31⁄2-day Disney Institute program and three tickets to the theme park at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla.
Call Workforce Solutions at 868-7021 to register. Visit www.disneyinstituteevite.com/Middletown/Registration for more information.
