Man charged with sex crime

Recommend ThisFRONT ROYAL -- Front Royal police have arrested an 18-year-old town man in relation to an incident involving a 14-year-old girl.
On Jan. 24, a school resource officer notified police of facts about the girl's case and that the girl was pregnant, according to a news release from the Front Royal Police Department.
Following an investigation, Matthew Charles Taylor, 18, of Front Royal, was arrested and charged with one count of carnal knowledge.
Taylor is being held without bond at the Warren County Jail, the release states.
The case remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact detective Crystal Cline at 636-2208.
