*Strasburg man charged in child pornography investigation

STRASBURG -- A town man has been charged with multiple counts of taking indecent liberties with young boys and producing child pornography, according to Police Chief Tim Sutherly.
Police seized pornographic videotapes, photographs and cell phones during a search of the home of Medford "Tom" Steed, 60, of the 100 Block of N. Fort St. in Strasburg, according to a release provided by Sutherly.
Steed was initially charged with two counts of manufacturing child pornography and two counts of taking indecent liberties with minors, but additional charges have been brought as other victims have come forward.
In all, Steed faces 19 charges, including two counts of aggravated sexual battery of a minor, six counts of use of a communication device to further child pornography, five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and two counts of reproducing child pornography, the release says.
Steed is being held without bond at the Shenandoah County Jail.
