WINCHESTER -- Benjamin F. "Ben" Waterman plans to run for re-election to the Frederick County School Board in November.
Waterman announced his intention to seek a second four-year term representing the Opequon District in a news release issued Tuesday.
The School Board appointed Waterman in January 2007 to complete the term of member Larry Van Hoose, who resigned to take a job out of state. Waterman won election to seat in November that year.
"If re-elected, Mr. Waterman plans to continue focusing on two key objectives: Striving to protect quality school experiences for students during this continued period of economic downturn and maintaining instruction, services and employees to deliver those quality school experiences," the release states.
