A flood watch is in effect today through Saturday morning for portions of the northern Shenandoah Valley and the eastern West Virginia Panhandle.
The National Weather Service predicts that 1 to 2 inches of rain could fall on our area as rain moves in from the West. Tonight's low will be 45.
Thunderstorms are possible on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and evenings, with some of the storms producing strong winds and large hail. Temperatures will warm up, with a high of 74 expected on Saturday and 79 on Sunday.
Monday's forecast calls for sunny skies and a high of 83.
