WINCHESTER -- Debbie Reynolds will serve as this year's Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival Grand Marshal, event officials announced Wednesday.
Reynolds, 79, will arrive in Winchester on Friday night of the festival, according to a news release, and will depart Saturday night.
The actress, singer and star of "Singin' in the Rain" still has an active career. She most recently won an Emmy award for her work on NBC's "Will and Grace," when she played Grace's mother, Bobbi Adler.
Reynolds shot to stardom in 1948 after winning a beauty pageant in California at age 16.
