Radio said to be taken from SUV

NEW MARKET -- Items were reportedly taken from a car parked in the 100 block of Cedar Lane recently.
Someone broke into a Ford SUV and took a Delphi XM radio and a purse between April 29 and 30, Shenandoah County Sheriff's Maj. Scott Proctor said. He said while a deputy was investigating the crime, it was reported that someone had tried to take another XM radio from another vehicle in the area.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 459-6100.
