*Gore woman wins $1 million Virginia Lottery prizeDaily Staff Report WINCHESTER -- A Gore woman has won $1 million in the Virginia Lottery's $70 Million Payout Spectacular game. Alice Turner and her husband bought the ticket at the 7-Eleven at 2035 Northwestern Pike in Winchester. The $1 million prize is an annuity paid out over 25 years. Turner chose to take the cash option of $642,000 before taxes. The store receives a $10,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the winning ticket. The Payout Spectacular is one of dozens of scratch-off games offered by the lottery. The game started with more than $70 million in total prizes, ranging from $10 all the way up to eight top prizes of $1 million. There are still four million-dollar tickets unclaimed.
