WINCHESTER -- A woman was charged with failure to yield the right of way after she collided with a city police cruiser Saturday morning, Winchester police Sgt. Frank Myrtle said.
Taola Acosta, 33, of the Winchester area, was turning north onto Kent Street from Leceister Street shortly before 10 a.m. when she pulled into the path of the cruiser being driven south by Officer N. Post, Myrtle said.
The police car struck her vehicle, he said. Myrtle said the officer wasn't responding to a call at the time of the collision.
No one was hurt, he said, and he didn't have damage estimates for the vehicles.
