*Lightning strike torches shed in Clarke County

BERRYVILLE-- A lightning strike caused a shed to catch fire in Clarke County on Sunday night.
The fire occured at 653 Mt. Carmel Road, according to Shenandoah Farms Volunteer Fire Department Fire Chief Harlan Cook.
The the incident was called in at about 6:30 p.m. and the department was on the scene three to four minutes later.
The fire was completely extinguished in 20 minutes, but the shed was a total loss. The cost of the damages is still undetermined, Cook said.
