WOODSTOCK -- The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office arrested a 43-year-old man on Monday for allegedly buying alcohol for two people under 21.
Deputies received a be-on-the-lookout bulletin at about 7:20 p.m. Sunday for a vehicle involved in a gas drive-off in Strasburg, Capt. Tom Hodges said. He said a deputy spotted the vehicle on Interstate 81 about 15 minutes later, and stopped it.
The three occupants of the car gave false names Hodges said. John Robert Linn, 43, of Vienna, and Mark Stephen Love Jr., 20, and Sarah Michelle Conley, 19, both of 1441 Mt. Olive Road, Toms Brook, were all charged with obstruction of justice.
Linn was also charged with driving under suspension and two counts of buying alcohol for an underage person. Conley and Love were additionally charged with giving false identification to law enforcement and underage possession of alcohol.
The three defendants are scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Sept. 16.
