WINCHESTER -- National arts and crafts retailer Hobby Lobby Stores is anticipating a grand opening in mid-September for its new store in Featherbed Lane Plaza shopping center.
The 58,000-square-foot store is expected to employ 35 to 40 workers, with a pay rate of $12 per hour for full-time and $8.50 per hour for part-time.
Virginia's vibrant crafting communities are currently underserved, as evidenced by the success of Hobby Lobby's other stores across the state, Assistant Vice President of Advertising John Schumacher says in a news release. The Winchester store will be the company's fourth in Virginia.
