Volunteer Farm needs harvesters

WOODSTOCK -- The Volunteer Farm is looking for helpers as it harvests the last of its vegetables this Saturday.

A news release from the farm says that groups or individuals are needed to harvest mostly potatoes, with work beginning at 8 a.m. and finishing around noon.

The produce harvested by the nonprofit farm goes to food banks, soup kitchens and pantries.
