WINCHESTER -- The area's third armed robbery this week occurred at a city convenience store Friday morning.
Authorities have not said whether they are connected.
The suspect in Friday's robbery entered Bo's Belly Barn, at 1217 Berryville Ave., at about 1:30 a.m., according to a news release from Lt. Robert S. Gaither of the Winchester Police Department. The suspect wielded a knife and demanded money and cigarettes from the clerk, who complied, Gaither states.
The witness described the suspect as a black male wearing a black face mask, a hooded gray sweatshirt pulled up over his head and baggy blue jeans with gray boxers showing, according to Gaither.
