Two charged in theft of firearms

FORT VALLEY -- Two men have been charged in connection with the theft of firearms, according to the Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office.
Four rifles were stolen on Aug. 23 from the 5000 block of Fort Valley Road, Lt. Wesley Dellinger said.
Robert Hall Fletcher Jr., 24, of 8 Jackson St., Front Royal, was arrested Dec. 9, and John Vance Jones, 24, of 517 Shangri-La Road, Bentonville, was arrested Dec. 13, Dellinger said.
Each man was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit grand larceny, two counts of burglary and two counts of grand larceny, Dellinger said.
Fletcher and Jones are scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Jan. 13.
