WOODSTOCK -- Police say they have "several persons of interest" but no suspects yet in a series of vehicle robberies that occurred late Friday night and early Saturday morning.
Interim Woodstock Police Chief R. W. Bowman said that two individuals went through town looking into parked vehicles.
He said that although he estimated they looked in or around about 20 vehicles, only two robberies have been reported so far.
"Those are the only reports of anything taken," Bowman said. "There might be others that haven't reported it yet.
He said the robberies consisted of minor items that weren't of "high dollar value."
"It's just the idea that they went into somebody else's property," he said.
The two reported robberies occurred in the east side of town. The incidents are still under investigation.
