Vehicle hits fence, driver charged

EDINBURG -- A 24-year-old woman faces a couple of driving charges following a Nov. 8 crash.
Anastascia Berger, of 5996 Smith Creek Road, New Market was charged Dec. 29 with hit and run and reckless driving, Shenandoah County Sheriff's Lt. Darcy Dellinger said.
He said deputies were called to the 1000 block of South Middle Road in Edinburg for a vehicle that had hit a fence's corner post, knocking down some fencing and a metal gate before driving off.
Berger is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Jan. 27.
