Fatherhood class to start in March

WINCHESTER -- A new program aimed at helping men become better fathers begins next month in the city.
The Winchester Department of Social Services is offering the free program, which will be held on Thursdays, starting March 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the War Memorial Building at Jim Barnett Park. The 16-week class continues to meet each Thursday with a light dinner provided at the sessions, according to a city news release.
The program focuses on men helping men become better fathers and build stronger families, the release states. Those interested may discuss ways to achieve stronger relationships with their children and improve financial stability, among other topics, according to the release.
