FORT VALLEY -- An overnight fire destroyed a family's home and sent one person to the hospital with smoke inhalation.
Shenandoah County Fire Marshal David Ferguson said he's investigating the origin of the fire, which was in a trailer with an addition at 2758 Boliver Road.
Two men and two women were home at the time when one of the men woke up and discovered the fire, Ferguson said. He then woke everyone else up.
One person had to be taken to Shenandoah Memorial Hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation, Ferguson said.
The home was a total loss.
