Items reported stolen from cars

WOODSTOCK -- The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office is investigating vehicle burglaries on Fairview Road.
A Vera Bradley purse, valued at $160, and a Tom-Tom GPS, worth about $160, were taken from a car in the 900 block of Fairview Road on Jan. 27, Lt. Wesley Dellinger said.
On the same day, an iPod, worth about $400, was taken from a vehicle in the 700 block of Fairview Road, he said. Other vehicles in the area also were broken into and rummaged through, he said.
