MT. JACKSON -- An 18-year-old man has been charged with stealing items from a resident of the home where he was living.
Travis Wayne Staton, of 10797 Old Valley Pike, Mt. Jackson, was charged with grand larceny on Jan. 18, according to the Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office.
Lt. Wesley Dellinger said Staton took aluminum, copper wiring, a tool box and a central air conditioning unit in October, and turned it in for scrap metal.
Dellinger said charges are pending against two other suspects.
Staton is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Feb. 24.
