Man faces counts in late-night fight

WINCHESTER -- A man is facing three charges after an incident outside of Italian Touch restaurant, according to authorities.
At approximately 2:22 a.m. on Sunday, Corporal A.J. McCoy witnessed a man fighting outside the restaurant located at 229 South Loudoun Street, according to a news release.
Dustin Cornwell, 23, of the 1000 block of Woodland Avenue, resisted arrest during the incident, the release states. It was later determined that Cornwell was intoxicated, according to the release.
Cornwell was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and drunk in public.
Both Cornwell and the officer sustained minor injuries during the incident.
