WOODSTOCK -- A 21-year-old man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly cut two people with a broken beer bottle.
Shenandoah County Sheriff's Lt. Wesley Dellinger said Dietrich Day II, of Dumfries, was charged with two counts of malicious wounding.
Day is accused of assaulting a 27-year-old Woodstock woman and an 18-year-old Strasburg man around 5:30 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Sheetz Mill Road in Woodstock, Dellinger said.
The victims were taken to Shenandoah Memorial Hospital, where they were treated and released, he said.
Dietrich is being held without bond in the Shenandoah County Jail, Dellinger said. He said charges are pending against other suspects.
