Streets to close for tree work

FRONT ROYAL -- Sections of Main Street will be closed Monday for tree maintenance projects, according to a news release from the town Department of Public Works.

Main Street from Church Street to Chester Street will be closed from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m., a public notice says. The section of Main Street stretching from Crescent Street to Church Street also will close from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Jimmy Hannigan, Acting Director of the department said that crews will remove up to 10 trees from Main Street.
