WINCHESTER -- Authorities are looking for a suspect who shot and killed a resident's pet dog in Frederick County Tuesday night.
Officers with the Frederick County Sheriff's Office responded to the 200 block of Boggess Lane for a report of shots fired in the area at about 7:06 p.m., according to Capt. John Heflin. The homeowner said they heard a vehicle leaving the area around the time of the incident, according to Heflin.
