Two displaced in Clarke house fire

Two people have been displaced and two firefighers were hurt after flames engulfed part of a Clarke County home Sunday morning.

Crews arrived at the scene in the 3800 bock of Harry Byrd Highway just after 10:30 a.m. Sunday to find the entire back of the house on fire, according to Chief Jason Burns of the Blue Ridge Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company.

Two firefighters from John H. Enders Fire Company fell through the ceiling and sustained minor injuries, he said.
