Charge lessened in return for pleaBy Sally Voth svoth@nvdaily.com WOODSTOCK -- A 21-year-old man who had sex with a 13-year-old girl was ordered in Shenandoah County Circuit Court on Wednesday to serve a month in jail. Aaron Lee Neff, of 1193 Swover Creek Road, Edinburg, pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to court documents. As part of a plea agreement, a charge of carnal knowledge of a child aged 13-15 was amended to the delinquency charge. It also called for Neff to be sentenced to 12 months in jail, with 11 months suspended and a year of unsupervised probation. Neff was 20 when he had sex with the girl on May 22, according to court documents. A criminal complaint filed by Shenandoah County Sheriff's investigator G.R. Poe says he and another investigator spoke with the victim in June. It also says Neff acknowledged knowing the girl was a middle school student at the time. Neff was indicted on Aug. 13 on the original charge. 1 Comment | Leave a comment |
It seems that the Wiseley Regime isn't much different than the Mitchell Regime or the TV show "Let's Make a Deal" for that matter. I wonder if it is because Wiseley has hired on Mitchell as an Assistant CA? I had high hopes; this and other deals are diminishing them.
